Point 1: We are not asked to believe the Bible, but believe the One whom the Bible reveals
Point 2: It takes God a long time to get us out of the way of thinking that unless everyone sees as we do, they must be wrong. That is never God’s view.
-> Different people see God in different ways. They have their revelations, and combined with their life experiences and environment, they can have a different view of God, but even use different words to describe the same character. Hence, we should stay open minded, listen and receive, and never place our yoke (our own standards) upon another.
